Mitre Line (Buenos Aires)


The Mitre line is a commuter rail service in Buenos Aires, Argentina run by UGOMS since 24 May 2012. This service had previously been run by the state-owned Ferrocarril General Bartolomé Mitre since nationalisation of the railways in 1948. The Mitre line operates on broad gauge.

New trains were acquired from CSR, the first arriving in June 2013; the first new rolling stock for 52 years.[1]
